Liberty Clinic: Snohomish, WA
June 23rd, 2024

First 30 minutes is a liberty introduction for all participants in the arena. Participants will take turns having a one hour liberty lesson.

You and your horse will enhance your partnership with a focus on respect, connection and trust.

Participants will be learning:

Introduction to liberty.
Sending your horse out and drawing them back in.
Advanced techniques dependent on individual horse abilities.

2 Day Clinic: Groundwork and Liberty in Cheney, WA
July 13th-14th, 2024

Crazy Horse Natural Horsemanship Horse Training Clinics

Day 1: Groundwork and handling in 3 hour groups done through gentle methods.

Day 2: One-on-one 45 minutes liberty lessons.

Bring your horse, flags and carrot sticks. You and your horse will enhance your partnership with a focus on respect, responsiveness and sensitivity.

Participants will be learning:

Introduction to groundwork and Natural Horsemanship.
Respectful leading skills which will include walking at your pace with a loose lead.
How to desensitize your horse.
Working on having your horse go around at your desired gait.
Turn the front and hind, focusing on proper technique.
Disengaging hindquarters with precision.
Backup your horse in various ways.
Introduction to liberty
Sending your horse out and drawing them back in.
Advanced techniques dependent on individual horse abilities.

I had bought a horse from an auction, it wasn’t until I brought him home that I found out he had been drugged and was not a beginner horse like he had been portrayed to be. I discovered that he had been mistreated and had poor experiences in being ridden. When Jenny began to work with him, he slowly started to open up to us. His trust was brought back after being worked with in groundwork and liberty. He accepted Jenny to sit and ride on him bareback or in a saddle, and without a bit after months of not being ridden. His personality has become friendly and calm, through our gentle and slow journey.
